Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, contact details, resume, professional experience, application responses, interview recordings, task maps, and recorded work sessions. If you qualify for paid work, identity-verification and payment providers may collect information needed to verify your identity and issue payments.
We may also collect basic technical information when you use TaskGym, such as your browser, device, IP address, pages visited, and diagnostic logs.
How we use information
We use information to:
- evaluate experience and match experts with relevant projects;
- conduct interviews, create task maps, and review submitted work;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve TaskGym;
- communicate about applications, projects, and support;
- prevent fraud and meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations; and
- develop and evaluate AI systems as described in the project disclosures and consents shown before participation.
Work data and employer information
Do not submit confidential employer, customer, patient, or production data to TaskGym. Expert sessions use fictional or otherwise authorized working data. Project-specific recording and retention details are provided before a session begins.
When information is shared
We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate TaskGym, verify identity, process payments, host data, provide support, and run projects. Relevant application or work information may also be shared with the organizations sponsoring a project, subject to the disclosures and agreements presented for that project. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect TaskGym, its users, or others.
Stripe processes expert payments under its own privacy policy. Identity-verification and other service providers process information under their applicable policies and agreements.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to operate TaskGym, fulfill the purposes described at collection, meet contractual and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Recording retention may vary by project and is disclosed at capture time.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. You may also opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
